How to Turn Off and Update Features Microsoft Office 2013
The steps are as follows :
To Disable Microsoft Update :
- Login to your control panel and open the windows update windows : Control Panel \ System and Security \ Windows Update \ Change settings
- Important update on the option list select Never Check For Updates ( not recommended ) and the Recomended Recomended Updates Updates unchecklist Give The Same Way I Receive The Important Updates
To Enable Microsoft Update
- Please re-enable windows update you as way over the earlier
- Then go to File - Accounts - Office Update and updates please click
- If there is a problem and it still does not update , please go into regedit , do I go to RUN (windows + R ) then type regedit
- After that go to KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ software \ policies \ microsoft \ office \ 15.0 \ Common \ OfficeUpdate
- Then adjust the following reg key :
DWORD : EnableAutomaticUpdates
Value :0 = disabled automatic updates
1 = Automatic Updates is enabled
DWORD : HideEnableDisableUpdates
Value :
1 = Hide menu option to enable or disable automatic updates
0 = display menu option to enable or disable automatic updates
